Banana Bread
Makes 2 loaves (20 Pieces)
Ingredients:
- 235 ml (1 cup) butter
- 475 ml (2 cups) sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 6 bananas, finely crushed – can be previously frozen
- 710 ml (3 cups) flour
- 10 ml (2 teaspoons) baking soda
- 5 ml (1 teaspoons) salt
- 5 ml (1 teaspoons) vanilla
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350ºF
- Cream together butter and sugar
- Add eggs, crushed bananas and vanilla
- Combine well
- Sift together flour, baking soda and salt then add to creamed mixture
- Mix until just combines – do not overmix
- Pour into greased and floured bread loaf pans
- Bake at 350ºF for 55 minutes
