Beef Recall – Get Your Ground Beef Products at PricePro

There has been a recall for various ground beef products across Canada.

Please note, the only products being recalled that are carried by PricePro are the Maple Lodge Zabiha Halal Burgers. If you are in need of an alternative ground beef source that has not been affected by the recall, we invite you to come to PricePro for our homemade beef patties, from beef fresh ground this morning. We also carry Harvest brand frozen beef burgers: 8 patties for $14.99 – these products have not been recalled.

The recall affects products processed at a particular facility. Our homemade burger patties are being made by hand in our butcher shop and the Harvest brand frozen patties have not been through the affected facility.

The affected products involved in this recall may be identified by one of the following codes:

1. bearing a Best Before date from BB 2012 JA 01 up to and including to BB 2013 FE 15;
2. bearing a production code with a format of 11 JL 01 up to
   and including 12 FE 15;
3. bearing a 5 digit lot code where the last four digits are 1831 or greater.
